SHAH ALAM: The Red Arrows display in Malaysia will be held over the Epsom College, Bandar Enstek, near KLIA on Oct 17. The display will be held from 12.30pm to 230pm. The exact time for the display will likely be around 1.30pm.

Only invited guests will be allowed into the college grounds, however. Bandar Enstek, located near the KLIA, is accessible by various highways and also the trunk roads. As for the display itself, if its a full one – depending on weather – it will be around 24 minutes. More on the Red Arrows display here.

The British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur is hosting the Red Arrows with the cooperation of BAE Systems.

I have never been to Epsom College, but based on the Google Map there are plenty of areas where the public and spotters can catch a good view of the display. Just be there early and remember to bring plenty of water and some kind of shades.

Although the display is at Epsom college, the team will still be based at the Subang airbase during its visit here. The Red Arrows tour – the first since 2007 – is part of its 2016 Middle East and Asia tour.

The time and date for flypast at KLCC mentioned in the earlier post, remains the same. It will be held on Oct. 14 at 3pm. The Red Arrows will performed a flypast with at least two RAF Eurofighter Typhoons.

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team (RAFAT) “The Red Arrows” and Typhoon aircraft are shown flying in formation as part of the 90th Anniversary of the RAF in 2008.

The Typhoons are taking part in the FPDA Bersama Lima Exercise. At least eight Typhoons are taking part together with the RAF Vovager, C-17s and C130J Hercules.
More on the exercise when I get them.

  • Why is it private and exclusively held in Epsom college and through invitation which is tentatively on Monday of first working day? Is it has been paid to be in here. I still remember the US Thunderbird performed in Subang base sometime ago and everyone went crazy about it.

Mostly its for the VIPs that are invited by the High Commission. Its free but only for invited guests. The public can view the show outside the college grounds. It was the same for the Thunderbirds show, only invited guests were allowed to enter Subang airbase, the public watched it from outside.

  • Will the performance be in front of the big field facing KLIA airport direction?
