Back in 2008, another batch 1 RMR soldiers performed public duties at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and the Tower of London for a month

Did we send a detachment for the Queen’s funeral procession? I recalled in the live documentary, that members of the Commonwealth had send reps for the event.
No, we didn’t
The RMR has only been to London on 3 previous occasions; the Victory parade to mark the end of WW2: the Queen’s coronation and in 2008 for guard duties at Buckingham Palace.
“No, we didn’t”
Sad. Yeah there might be some noise from anticolonialists or accusations of kowtowing to our former masters if we did participate but regardless we should pay respect to the head of the Commonwealth that we’re part off.
The King and Queen were there. And I believed one of the DA/ADAs in UK took part in the funeral parade
