SHAH ALAM: Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, the King has warned military personnel not to be involved in corruption and abuse of power in the procurement of arms. He said the sovereignty and dignity of the country will be compromised if military officers and men are involved in corruption and power abuse.
To this end, His Majesty said he will personally vet the military procurement programmes. He said this said this in his speech at the Royal Commissioning Parade for 644 cadet officers at the Sungei Besi Camp in Kuala Lumpur today. Following the parade they received their commissioning certificates.

As for the LCS CBT case, here is an update. Meanwhile, a recently retired RMAF two star was charged for accepting cash while in service.

So if the hanky panky still got thru can we blame HRH for the corruption? We shouldnt but thats human nature to find fault. HRH shouldnt get his hand dirty into this as there is no certainty that ALL corruption will be stamped out and for those that werent caught it will be a black mark on his rule.
It would have been more prudent for him to issue a stern warning and that perps caught should not be expecting any mercy or 50% discount, rather he would see to it the maximum sentence are given. This would at least isolate him from any misses later on.
a nice way to put it for what is really going on.
